Did you know that paint wasn’t available in tubes until the 1840’s? Before that artists carried around fragile little pouches of pigments in wooden boxes. Once the metal tube was developed, paint was much more portable and artists could carry their supplies around with greater ease.
Can you come up with a way to divide 55 tubes of paint into six painter’s sacks so that an odd number of tubes are in each sack with no tubes left over?
