ASA CERTIFIED INSTRUCTIONS

Located in beautiful Northern California, near Sacramento, CA USA. Martin’s ASA Sailing School offers a unique program designed to maximize your “hands on” instruction with unlimited time to practice and refine your sailing skills.
Sailing makes a great gift for anyone at any age for all occasions!

Sail the Delta Breeze!

We instruct in the best learning and most comfortable sailing environment in Northern California. 20 to 30 Degrees warmer than San Francisco, 10 degrees cooler than Sacramento. Conditions are very similar and reminiscent of being on "Drakes Lake" in the Virgin Islands! Learn in shorts and t-shirts, leave your foulies home! We are centrally located in a wide open area of the Sacramento, San Joaquin Delta about forty-five minutes from anywhere in the Bay Area, Stockton, Modesto, and Sacramento. Excellent Wind! Tides and Currents! Yet we are still in fresh water. Cruise to excellent restaurants, free overnight camping, aboard or ashore, swim, fish, picnic, get a tan, showers, hookups, and plenty of parking.

“Then man learned how to use the wind. For the first time a force was harnessed other than his own muscles or those of a animal. It was a discovery whose effects would reach down the ages...”
