When I'm "in the great outdoors" exploring nature and discovering subjects that attract my attention, I am more alive and in tune with my surroundings - even the minutest of details. In this process I often become more aware of deeper aspects of myself. From this heightened awareness have come my favorite images, some of which are presented here for your enjoyment and relaxation. Frequently when approaching a scene.."a completed photographic image" will be immediately obvious to me. All the elements for a balanced and peaceful composition are already there - just awaiting my seeing them. While at other times I have to be there for awhile before the "seeing" happens. Either way my experience is one of being "fully present in the moment" wide open and receptive to what's there for me.
