You will be picked up at the airport or your hotel in Paris.
Private guided tour of the Castle of Fontainebleau (the first
castle of Napoleon) and/or Vaux-le-Vicomte, a treasure of
the 17th century. Arrive at Domaine Brunot in the afternoon.

Auxerre is perched on a hill
overlooking the River Yonne. Visit the 13th century
cathedral of St.-Etienne with its period stained glass
windows, the 8th -10th century Abbey and the medieval
quarter with its beautiful 15th century clock tower.
In the wine country of Auxerre, taste Pinot Noir and
Aligote wines at a 10th century winery and visit a very
special 12th century cellar to taste sparkling wines.
Romantic vineyards of Saint Bris (a cellar of the 11th
century) Quaint villages of Irancy and Bailly and tasting
of "Cremant de Bourgogne" sparkling wine.

Visit wineries in the Chablis area.
On Sunday stroll open-air markets. Marvel at the remarkably
preserved medieval town of Noyers. Tour an 11th century
Cistercian Abbey and then go to Tonnere to see the former
hospital built in 1293, well known for its splendid
wooden vault. Tour the 16th century chateau of Tanlay,
known for its well-preserved frescoes. The long gallery
opening onto the park is the most gorgeous in Burgundy,
entirely painted in 'grisaille' and 'trompe-l'oeil'.
Enjoy wine tasting at Tonnere and Pinot Noir producers
in Epineuil. Visit and taste at Les Clos, Grenouille,
and les Preuses, producers of Chablis & Premier
Crus /Grand Crus Chardonnay.

example of Burgundian Romanesque art. Medieval houses,
vaulted cellars, alleys, and porches line the street that
climbs to the church square a real voyage through
time. Drive through the scenic valley 'De Cousin' and
visit the 14th century fortified city of Avallon.
